The Moravians

texas dutchmenThe Moravians Polka Band was founded in the spring of 2009 by seven high school students. The band began with a slow start, but after winning a high school talent show, the band took off. In the years since, the band has toured across the country with Mollie B, played on the beach in South Padre Island, TX and has performed in numerous local festivals including The Ennis Czech Music Festival, Caldwell Kolache Festival, The South Texas Polka & Sausage Fest, National Polka Festival, and various other events. Current members include seven life-long friends, three still being in college. The band enjoys taking trips to play in new places and looks forward to spreading the joy of polka music for many years to come.
