Are credit cards accepted for admission into the dance halls?Yes, cash and credit are accepted for admission to the halls. There are ATM machines at the KJT Hall, Sokol Hall and SPJST Hall. Admission for Friday night is $9, admission for Saturday is $14, admission for Sunday is $11. Children 12 and under are FREE. Josh Abbott Band Country Concert admission is additional. You will need to purchase a separate ticket. Tickets for the Josh Abbott Band are $40 in Advance or $45 the Day of the Event. Click here to purchase tickets.

Is there a three day pass offered?Yes, but only on Friday night, May 24, at the King/Queen Dance. It is $30 for the weekend, which is a $4 savings.

Can you bring dogs to the festival?Pets are only allowed at the downtown festival, not the dance halls. All pets most be on a leash and no exotic animals are allowed (reptiles, etc.). Service dogs are permitted in the halls.

Is there a cost for parking?Free parking is available in downtown Ennis and at the halls.

Is there handicap parking for the parade?Yes, there is limited handicap parking at 305 W. Ennis Ave, Ennis, Texas 75119 (O'Reilly Auto Parts Parking Lot).

Where is the polka mass?The polka mass will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 26 at St. John Nepomucene Church, located at 401 E. Lampasas Street, Ennis, Texas 75119.

Is there an admission fee for the downtown part of the festival (arts/crafts/street dance)?There is no admission fee to the downtown part of the festival. However, activities at the festival (children’s activities, food, beer at the Pivo Pavilion) are fee based.

What time does the parade start?It will start in downtown Ennis at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 25 and will run from N. Clay, then left on W. Ennis Ave through downtown, then right on SW Main Street. It is suggested to come as early as 9 am to line up to watch the parade.

Is there alcohol served at the festival?Various types of alcohol are served at each participating hall in the bar and beer only will be served in downtown Ennis at the Pivo (Beer) Pavilion.

Do the bars at the halls accept credit cards?The hall bars accept cash only. There is an ATM on site at the halls for KJT Hall, Sokol Hall and SPJST Hall.

How does admission work at the halls?Th hall/polka admission fee gets you into the participating halls all day long with one paid admission for polka entertainment. Once you pay at one of the halls, an admission band will be placed on your wrist so that you may enter each hall for the rest of the day. The Josh Abbott Band Country Concert is not included in the hall/polka admission.

Is there food sold at the halls and in downtown?Yes, food is being sold at the halls while supplies last. If you plan to eat a meal at the halls, we suggest you arrive early. Once the meals sell out, only sandwiches, etc., will be available. Prices and menus are set by each Hall and the price does not include admission to the Halls. To-Go Plates are available at the on Saturday at Sokol and KJT Dining Room Entrance, and at the SPJST Kitchen Entrance. To-Go Plates are available at the Sunday at Sokol and KJT Hall Dining Room Entrance. The downtown festival also has food for sale from vendors.

Can you go and eat at the halls at lunch without paying admission?No, you will have to pay the admission to be able to eat lunch inside the halls. Sokol, KJT, and SPJST have To-Go option through Dining Room Entrance. Click here to see hall menus.

Are there RV hookups for camping?Sokol and KJT have a limited amount of space for overnight RV stays. Please contact either of them directly for more information.

Are there shuttles?There are shuttles on Saturday and Sunday Only that run to and from Downtown (201 NW Main St) to the SPJST, KJT and Sokol Halls. Shuttles times are 9am - 7pm on Saturday and 12pm - 5pm on Sunday.
